Mara at Ksar Ouled Soltane

Not far from the town of Tatouine in Southern Tunisia are 15th century communal granaries which were built as fortresses to protect the grain from raiding parties. In the Spring of 2005 we traveled there. I took this photograph of Mara with my 35 mm camera.
