Please check out the blog just before my "New Look" entry. I wrote an entry a while ago, but it took me so long to attach photos (days in fact) that, when posted, it actually pre-dated the "New Look" entry. Here I am adding a few more photos of our wonderful Massachusetts weekend with David's family. These include a nice shot of David with his Uncle Paul (David's mother's brother) and Aunt Rosina at the house of Aunt Rosina and David's late Uncle Jack (also his mother's brother and an amazing artist). The photos also include a photo of David with his Uncle Frank (mother's brother too) and Aunt Emily (the photo is a bit dark, sorry), who are planning to move to New Mexico soon. We were eager to see them while still in New England (although a trip in the future to the American Southwest wouldn't be out of the question -- David's cousin Ellie and her family also live there). Finally, a few more photos of Susannah and her horse and the amazing 18th century wall that we walked that weekend.

Dearest Mara,
Do you have the feeling time flies, or is it me, reading three entries from your blog at a time, but it's weekend-time again, and you must be planning some new journey and exploits, as if just unable to stand still. So, what's it gonna be this time? Whatever you and David figure it outto be, I hope it's enjoyable and healing! Have a great weekend, darling!
Love you immensely,
Zlatna
Dear Mara,
Thank you for telling us all about your feelings and for the beautiful photos. We hope the radiations are over now and you will be able to relax and recover a bit. Have a lovely weekend! We all send you a big hug and wished we could be with you!

HI Sweet friend,
Your entry about your hair coming out and how you felt about it just reminded me how much I love you and miss you. I think about your humor and humanity in everything you do and I feel absolutely blessed to call you my friend. I feel far away from you sometimes, and wish we could be sharing good times, but I THANK YOU for this blog. It makes me feel like I am listening to you on the phone! You will continue braving these waters because that's what you must do. THANK YOU David, for being right there and sharing your family and your life with Mara. And Maralita, I love you. You are a jewel in my heart. Shine your light baby. (Mark says a BIG hello). all my love, Jo
I love... reading your blog. What a beautiful weekend. You do look like the Girl with the Pearl! I can't wait to spot you on the streets of NYC!!
lots of love, brenda
Hey pearl girl! You look great without hair!
It looks like you have had a really good time (in and amongst the treatments and doctor input). I haven't yet seen David but I think he's coming over maybe this weekend, so we will make sure he eats.
We're all good here. I just got the address for your blog, so now we can keep in touch!
Have some more vegan take out, my friend. Much love from all of us, Jennifer, Matt, Radhika and Rhys
